- "Human Rights" is the issue, not war zone casualties and crime statistics.
China has a horrendous record of Human rights. People complaining about Guantanamo should take a look at Chinese prisons and how they treat their own citizens with torture and foul conditions. Cells with no space to lie down, forced to sit on knees for entire days, beaten, starved, you name it. Guantanamo is a freakin holiday compared to your run of the mill Chinese prison.
Their treatment of religions of all types is absolutely intolerable. Destroying churches and mosques alike, and imprisoning their leaders for years with no due process.
It's laughable, and telling, that the AP would even report this drivel.

JohnUSeed rated 7 months ago- From the page: "China's State Council, or cabinet, said the U.S. record on human rights was "tattered and shocking" and criticized America for its violent crimes, large prison population and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan."
metalkpretty1 rated 7 months ago- the pot calling the kettle black calling the pot black calling the kettle black..... and they'd rather fight about who's worse than actually change anything.
