Garon was refused a spot on the transplant list, largely because he has used marijuana, even though it was legally approved for medical reasons. ** LR ~ This breaks my heart that this is being done. A man (and his family and loved ones) are being penalized for following the rules.

- It would make more sense to refuse a kidney to people who drank it away, then to people who smoked marijuana to alleviate their pain (and were told to by the docs).
