Did I say 'giant squid'? No, No, No! I meant 'COLOSSAL SQUID'. Sorry about that...

Now for the sake of science, we know. Now can they live in peace?

Colossal squid caught off Antarctica. Yes, that's the species name - Colossal Squid.

Is the colossal squid the next major undersea study since giant squids were discovered?

Agree with silencer. Why let anything live in the ocean when we could make calamari! "a painstaking 2 hour process" to haul it aboard - why do we need it aboard exactly? Is there some dying reason why we must kill a giant beast like this? notoriety maybe? If there was a tag for 'this is wrong on so many levels', I would add it.
