Plants prove that they are amazing every day. They constantly participate in the struggle for survival with insects and animals struggle to feed themselves. This is a back and forth, where each is trying to adapt more rapidly to out-adapt each other. Plants use mimicry, plant secondary compounds (anti-grazing chemicals), and physical deterrents (spines and thorns). All the while, insects and animals are developing adaptations to these plant defenses so that they may still eat the plants. Amazing stuff really.

Like people who pretend to be sick to avoid their unhealthy jobs :)

Wow! This is wild. A plant that pretends to be sick to avoid being eaten, now that is evolution in process.

Seriously, there are lots of these kind of plants in Turkey. Just look in SSK hospitals and you'll see.
