Plans for a 90ft-tall statue of a naked woman which would dominate a city skyline have been unveiled.
"Biowoman" was designed to embody the disciplines of art and science made famous by Dundee University.
The work, conceived by international artist and sculptor David Mach, would be erected at the city's Duncan of Jordanstone art school.
A smaller 9ft version of the sculpture has been created as part of an exhibition being held at Dundee Contemporary Arts, featuring collaborations between artists and scientists.
