    Yay, go for it. From the page: "An East Sussex town is introducing its own currency in an effort to encourage shoppers to support the local economy. The Lewes Pound will work like a voucher, with one Lewes pound note worth the same as a pound sterling."

    if a small town in Sussex can do this why not Scotland? it would encourage buying local products and also be a first step towards our own currency . Discuss
