Netscape nevermore. It's always sad to see old icons - especially the pioneers of any field - fall by the way side, forgotten by both users and Time.

I moved to Firefox a good few years ago - and installed one of the recommended add-ons (StumbleUpon) the very same day - but I'll mourn Netscape and smash a glass in the fireplace for it. It allowed me to Not Use IE, a pleasure and privilege which I welcomed then, and continue to welcome today. So, Netscape, thank you for that, and thank you for the good times. I think, given the nautical associations of the name, Navigator, that this once-mighty browser ought to be given a Viking send-off.
