Disturbing? I tell you what is. For the US to be worried about Pakistan's nuclear weapons, given Cheney and Bush's role in actually allowing AQ Khan to sell his secrets outside of the country, turning a blind eye to it all just to push through a sale of F16 jets to the Pakistani Air Force. This article is another classic example of one part of the BBC not knowing what another part is doing. Four years ago a Panorama documentary for the BBC blew the whistle on the whole sordid saga of AQ Khan, Cheney, the CIA's Richard Barlow. Now it seems that journalists in the BBC havent even heard of all of that, enough to allow themselves to swallow US press releases about being worried about Pakistan's nuclear weapons situation. Glad I am living here in Japan now and not contributing to the BBC licence fee cos their journalism is steadily going down the toilet. When people give up asking the difficult and embarrasing questions, then that is a bad day as far as I am concerned. Read these if you are interested: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/panorama/6147208.stm http:// news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/panorama/6136978.stm Then just Google "Richard Barlow CIA Pakistan" for the rest.
