    If the drummer plays the entire hour then I believe its closer to 800 to 1,200 as upper body workouts like speed boxing is nearly twice lower body. He said:"A hour in concert could burn between 400 and 600 calories" If it was only 400 there would be many more heavy. I suggest trying 15 minutes then a half hour then an hour on a Speed Bag. Its less expensive and a bit less noisy.

    "It it all ended tomorrow [being a successful rock drummer], I could do without the rock and roll, as long as I still had the sex and drugs". It turns out that rock drummers on tour are much fitter than those overpaid poncy nancy-boys called professional footballers.
