Granted, my blog is a bit on the frivolous side (a LOT on the frivolous side ~ to help me deal with bipolar issues and such and because humor and laughter are good for you). But that doesn't mean I don't have extreme compassion and empathy (I have a harder time showing that than making... more

. Stunning exhibition of mostly black and white photos. If they do not at the very least give you cause to stop and ponder the meaning of this world we live in today, then your soul is truly dead. From the page - But as reality burns skin and sears the brain, so art tries to return us whole again. Stop and visit at nausher .

"Sonnet for Naushér" Split infinitive, the cleaver makes its mark, And I am neither here nor there; I can Say nothing save that in weightless the demand Is carried in the air in every minute while the spark The extremities of life are so easily payed Out as if `twere ready bought, an excess in signs Disused; humanity, so easily recused, the excuse the very line In the sand separating here from there as in an arcade Where the emotion insults intelligence and finds a place To hide the withered phallus from the orchid for just a little while. But who will look upon such horrors by the mile As cannot pass the lips nor register in the mind; efface From memory the wailing of all worlds, a stench which cannot be learned But which must in the end be seen: more than innocence here is overturned. A site, Naushér, which cannot be believed without the seeing, and having seen, what must be relegated, delegated, assigned the epithet of vulgarity. What searing pains. What is posted here is truly too much for any eyes, and yet, in truth, who dares to guard himself from viewing what truths are posted here, the disgust, the utter incredulity of seeing what in fact walks this earth. I know of no other site like this one! I visit this site sparingly; what is portrayed here is impossible to behold without denial, a sense of despair and ultimately tears. And, if the truth were known, while what is posted is unspeakable, still, I detect a decided courage and a kindness in the presentation beyond whatever sensation there may be in the posting. See this site, sparingly, but nonetheless if you are a human being and are alive, take the time to see this site.

Amazing stumbler. Gotta love a guy that makes you rethink your values. I see the amazing juxtaposition of the stark imposed reality on one hand and personal choices on the other in all but the use of anorexic 'models'. They obviously ARE anorexic, and not just stylishly emaciated. And that is NOT a personal choice. That's an illness

A sincere and thoughtful Stumbler. Images that create instant dissonance and a puzzle as to how to rationalise them with any sense of balance
