- What an incredible story -- I can't even imagine being that talented at something.
On a related note, I once knew someone who was also a blind floutist in California. He gave my friend John the gift of perfect pitch -- true story, and he's had it ever since. John said it was actually something of a curse, since most music is slightly off-tone.

then her introduction by TS Monk at the Herbie Hancock Tribute dinner hosted by Quincy Jones,
followed by her performance of Hancock's standard, "Dolphin Dance."
