    From the page: "Hitler Meets with Leni Riefenstahl, 1937" Interesting. Though I expected that on "Hitler Meets with Leni Riefenstahl" Goebbels wos be missing even before I saw original photo.

    Though it is true that this rectangular poster celebrating the Beatles' second-to-last release is cropped differently than the original square LP cover, it features one additional, more significant alteration of the original (and it's not Paul McCartney's lack of footwear).

    Whether all of these are 'famous' is debatable, but it's interesting to see what is filtered for the eyes of the general populace. Or how stupid and ignorant editors can be, in some cases.

    An interesting site which features famous images which have been altered. The "Abbey Road" cover pictyre is the original. In the modified version the cigarette is not seen in Paul Mcartneys hand.
