From the page: "Music should go right through you, leave some of itself inside you, and take some of you with it when it leaves. - Henry Threadgill from Zen Guitar" ... very well put.

What beautiful fragmentation. I carry pieces of lyrics around like sticky notes of moments I don't want to forget. Notes of various songs float around my fingers, stick to the bottom of my shoes, and wind themselves in my hair: memories. This is exactly what music is supposed to do. It breaks the boundaries we set for ourselves. It changes our perception and alters our own reality. It gives a voice to what we are uncertain how to say.
