The widening gap between media body images and real women should be a concern for all parents. How are our kids supposed to feel good about themselves when they're fed such garbage about what they should look like on a daily basis?

What's even more disturbing, is that ... this comment has been deleted, due to too many people being upset and personally offended by it ... so, although I certainly do stand by my personal opinion in this regard, the apparent discomfort that it has caused is just not worth it ... generally speaking from my point of view, it would certainly be helpful if those who read this blog would actually admit to their readership, and discuss their issues with me personally - however, I suppose that is just too much to ask. So screw it. (P.S. what I said which was so offensive, is that if you are overweight, then why don't you do something about it rather than getting all pissed off at the skinny girls)
