"A Sonnet for Molles"
The signal, then, attracts attentions, bright,
A single flame, perhaps in company
With but one or two quite simple melodies
Against the backing of a richer, darker light
And punctuated with the same in words,
Themselves. Some momentary sparks of thought
Will concert in themselves, have caught
The eye and heart of viewer on the curve
Of things, with nothing overwhelmed; relief,
And not an end within itself, and in the end,
With nothing said, and nothing done, she sends
The whole to passers-by with quiet bye-your-leave's
Sufficient to address, but not embrace,
Allowing intimacies, true, but at a restful pace.
This particular site is clearly presented with easy pleasantries that have an unblemished look, clarity of purpose, and a wealth of wisdom never once coming close to the overwhelming. I have enjoyed seeing what Molles has posted. This site provides a very pleasant walk through a fairly beautifully manicured park.
