number 3 and 5 reminds me of something where you would want to avoid the outside world.

Cool concept that would be exciting at first, but might have you ready to get out of there after a few months.

I think the concept is a good one and deserves implementation. However, I believe it should be integrated with linear forms that we are customarily used to. There should always be an easy transition from the familiar to the uncommon so as not to disturb the equilibrium of the psyche. Richard Meier, one of the world's renowned architect, is a good example of this.

Some really idiotic comments on this page. 'Too expensive' - no, cheaper than a conventional house, all things considered, including long term maintenance. 'Antithesis of good design' - on the contrary, these designs are very effective in terms of light, space, balance, privacy and so on. 'No storage space' - uh, wrong, there are built-in robes, closets, etc. marked clearly on the layout, if you know how to read one. Go on, declutter your life, dude, and if I were you I'd start with tossing out my pithy prejudices.

These suck. Full of wasted space (curved walls both laterally and longitudinally are absurd), they have no storage space, and give the impression of a cage. This is the antithesis of good design.

Neat, but of course way too expensive to contemplate.
