In the U.S. House of Representatives, over Republican objections, Pelosi had the microphones and television lights turned out on the House floor as Congressional Republicans chanted "vote" and sought votes prior to Congress's summer recess on their proposals to expand domestic petroleum drilling and address America's energy crisis."
