VersesOverCoffee rated 3 weeks ago- Intelligent, poetic.
ignaty rated 3 weeks ago- Looking through her pages of poetry and poetic pictures I am reminded that love heals, and its' opposite, fear, destroys; wisdom that is needed in our chaotic world. A lot of what is posted here is original! I will be back to this site a lot!
From her page:
I continue to search
to seek a feeling
Elusive and full
I have known it a time
or one
One time it came
disguised as a blush on the check
of a babe new born
Maybe there was another time
when it was masked
as an embrace
that made two
one
It took me one day
I know for sure
When the past appeared
and answered all the questions
momentarily...
momentarily
The feeling...
Elusive and full
energy
symbolic of what will be
when love is there
unadulterated
by life

squiffy2 rated 8 weeks ago- Wonderful blend of pictures and prose make this blog a must-see.
You Are Not My Love
You are not my love
I have no love
I was left here,
Abandoned by a wayward spirit
An eternity ago
He promised his return
Yet his eyes I have not seen for a millennium
I sought his spirit
in the trees, the wind, the air.
But, found only traces of
What was no more
Like old photographs
Illusions
And not him at all.
You are not my love
I have no love
With you is a dream
Of love gone by, unattainable
For souls abandoned.

I hear from time to time when I put my self up
close here - looking out this faded window
"Hear others faintly expressing?...Look at the Mirror
- She is here - She is here -
Mirror... surely my imagination reflecting inward
- in restropect - the one who loved me - my soul wounded -
My Muse to a Haunting
