- A warm welcome to SU, Max! What a wonderful story about the misadventures of dogs, beaches, and the little mundanities that seem to creep into life when you're not watching. I had a similar experience about a month ago. A group of my friends and I were sitting around a game of Dungeons and Dragons, and I realized with a start that we'd been spending the past half hour grumbling about our collective skin disorders - cysts, bumps, tags, spots, strange fleshy masses....it was at that point that I realized that we aren't kids anymore. I think, all in all, it's a good thing. Kids take themselves far too seriously, and as Max has clearly realized, there's a wealth of hidden humour to be found in the unglamorous realities of adulthood :) I do hope you've more stories to share!
