- I'm still noodling around on the Six Things list from a few weeks ago. Encouraging spirituality is a biggie, and I got a little help yesterday when I opened up the monthly newsletter from First Unitarian Church. We started attending First Church before Casey was born, and were drawn in for a number of reasons, one of them being the religious education program. Tom and I were looking for a supportive community to help us raise our child within a moral framework that was open-minded, inclusive and loving.
