While the magazine style looks fresh and interesting the actual results are not as strong. And when it comes to search engines - and maybe because of Google - results are really the only thing that matters. I would guess that most people would consider a 'search success' if the first page of results contained at least a couple pages that met their expectations. When it comes down to it, figuring out what I want based on a few words is much more important than being pretty doing it. The name is also a bother. Try to explain "cuil, that's c, u, i, l but it is pronounced 'cool'; you don't want to know why" to your friend or cousin. Word that are not spelled like they look are hard to explain, or remember. Good discussion about the hype.

this guy put my thoughts in a blog... yes... they had all this attention... but the results were horrible so what do you get with that? a lot of attention of your failure.

umm the only reason i herd about it was through stumbleupon, so im giving this page a thumbs down as it is nothing more than a marketing page and of no real information, just makes you see what the "cool" website is, and its junk.
