xtxzt rated 7 weeks ago- Seekrpat makes an interesting point. EBooks are not for everyone and can never truly achieve the feeling of reading them in their physical format, but if you do enjoy EBooks this is a very useful website. I love the varied selection and especially how many different formats they can be downloaded in. Its also the only site I know of which has iPhone formatted EBooks.

GeorgetownGrad rated 3 months ago- A small site devoted to free ebooks. Im an ebook fanatic and anything that helps save me a buck is good. However, I dont think this site has too much too offer - not a large catalog and the interface is a little archaic.

budyhollyholyhop rated 3 months ago- neat-o

seekerpat rated 3 months ago- John Singer Sargent "Man Reading(2)" curt. Fogg Art Museum, Cambridge MA Not to sound like a Luddite or anything, but I remain unconvinced in regards to the usefulness electronic books. The technology is neat but will never compare with the printed word: Books don't need a power source, just your imagination Books tend to fare better at the beach or in a backpack...or the loo for that matter Books passed to friends don't require a download, just time spent together Books are organic Books have soul 19K free books, paltry! Check out your Public Library sometime! You never know what you may discover. Here's a shot of the main reading room at the Boston Public Library-where I've spent many an idle afternoon: photo by http://www.flickr.com/photos/highholburn/
