it can really be shortened down to: Less is more when it comes to desktops. The rest is just fluff.

The earth one is my fave. Really nice. The least nice is the colorless one, "sth about nix". I don't like the wallpaper.

Pretty stuff...would have been better if there had been more info on how to create these desktops. Many didn't even mention which desktop manager was being used, much less where all the widgets, icons, and wallpapers had come from.
