Interesting. It can certainly lead to stylistic improvements. However, it can also lead to extremely awkward phrasing.

Actually reminds me a bit of the communication practice of utilizing "feeling" statements, and avoiding "absolutes."

Hmmm... good article here on e-prime (never heard of that). Has good and bad parts, but I am too tired to write about any of them so you'll have to read for yourself.
