I'm irrationally tempted to try this.

yeh, this'd definitely work in the tropical north west of England. i also regularly fry my eggs bacon on the bonnet of my e type jag (now you know i'm lying...i have a mercedes benz, a class *coughs*) i can just picture wrinkle-headed gordon ramsey or ginger pixie antony worrall thompson launching a new programme off the back of this article alone : '... today, ladies gentlemen, on Cooking in/on Cars...how to grow mushrooms in your wheel arches AND make your own milkshakes with the use of windscreen wipers!' mine's a chocolate, ta Gordon

I think I'll try this, but I'll use the pillsbury pre mixed dough, you know that stuff that comes in a sausage shape tube, my daughter uses it in an easy back oven and that only uses a 100 watt bulb. The cookies seem to turn out fine
