    "Impress your geeky Linux friends"? Well... guess for that it'll take more than just knowing how to, say, kill processes using "kill". This, overally, is a pretty pointless collection of basic shell / Unix tools knowledge, a very brief introduction to a set of given applications (like gpg for encryption) and "handing out rather sharp knives without real explanations" (playing with "iptables" without understandings its doings is just begging for trouble...). Overally the real knowledge to be found here is rather limited as these hints neither are complete nor generally applicable to any Linux desktop nor real "geeky" at all. Move along, nothing to see here. ;)
