I wouldn't be surprised, they're both natural substances that have proven to have health benefits. Shrooms would probably be better to give to a withdrawing opiate addict than Methadone, or Xanax/Valium for a recovering alcoholic...Shrooms would be far less addictive than the current treatments (if at all).
