- An interesting start, for sure. Here is a Stumbler of worth! From the page - An odd thought has occurred to me, perhaps it is the conflict between pure socialism and pure capitalism that ensures fairness. Each side has a duty to point out the weaknesses of the other and to aid the other in correcting its flaws. This particular phenomenon of the conflict itself being the solution occurs in many other places that I have noticed. But I'm sure I will blab on about them some other time. For now i just want to say: Perhaps capitalism and socialism were meant for each other. I agree. Historically the two ideals have not only fed from one-another, but have been mutually dependant on their concepts and advocates. Other political creeds and alliances merely fall into the shadows of the two political wings. I could go on for hours on this subject, which has intrigued me for years. But work calls!
