Another one of Kagnie's poems that spoke directly to my soul...
Reflection: The Ocean Written in Marblehead,
Massachusetts: September 14, 2007
The ocean.
My single connection and conduit.
I wonder at my need to dialogue with you.
Question why you continue to keep your eternal rhythm,
rolling in to meet me.
Retreating.
Taunting.
Your indifference,
impersonal and stinging with brine.
You mock me with answers that have echoed;
answers that have been heard before
all too common.
But I am still touched,
and sit silent in uncommon awe
at the sound of your anger,
your passion,
your depth,
your playfulness,
your sorrow,
your laughter....
Your attentions wash over the rocks and shores of this place,
close the gap across the distance,
while I wait for your next expression.
I languish as you encircle my feet.
I am broken. I am comforted.
I know you somehow from another past.

Here are stunning visuals (so many of the gorgeous photos by kagnie...) thoughtfully presented and augmented by poetry and prose... If art is a reflection of the maker's soul, then kagnie must be one very beautiful soul.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (kagnie's favorite lines - part I)
"...Ye who love the haunts of Nature, love the sunshine of the meadow,
Love the shadow of the forest, love the wind among the branches,
And the rain shower and the snow storm, and the rushing of great rivers,
