When it comes to the registry I suggest you leave that to an expert...I have messed up many a computer so I learnt the hard way...needless to say I don't get a lot of trouble now..Mind you Vista can use a hell of a lot of RAM so it is a good idea to have 4 gigs instead of 1 or 2 gig...leave the paging file alone as well. I found the best person for tweaks is http://www.howtogeek.com this guy knows his stuff.
