    The emperor of China once went to a famous painter and ordered a paiting of a cock. The painter took a bow, said he needs a year and asked for an advance. When the year passed the emperor became inpatient and went again to the painter to ask how the painting proceeded. The painter fell to the ground, he asked for one more year and another advance. The emperor, a bit angry, conceeded. When the second year passed by he again went to the painter. The painter had prepared rice paper, took his brush and ink and painted a cock with only a few brush strokes, but as naturally as if alive. The emperor got angry and asked, why he had to wait two years for this. The painter bowed deep and opened the door to another room and there the emperor saw hundreds of scetches and drawings and each showed - cocks!
