Computers have changed drastically in the last 30 years. Although most modern semiconductors are made with silicon and certain chemicals, computers in the early 70's were made with cardboard and bits of string. Prior to hard disks, information storage was read and written on cardboard and bits of string. Also, the computer monitor replaced the old method: cardboard and bits of string. We truly live in amazing times.
