LIFE'S MOST POWERFUL LESSONS BY JONATHAN MEAD. Thanks 'lou83'. Have you ever had an epiphany? One of those "a-ha" moments where something just clicks for you? Maybe it's something you've been struggling with for a long time, or maybe it was a piece of advice you learned from a friend. Whatever the source of our insight, it's these moments that bring us to a deeper understanding of our world. The better understanding we have of life, the more we live in the truth.

33 of Life's Most Powerful Lessons

Here are a few principals we humans should model more frequently. Will someone counsel me on this question? Why have we allowed our world to be forged into such complexity? Arguably, the larger percentage of us desire not only personal harmony, but societal accord. Although my hypothesis may present itself as a foolish idea uttered through the mouth of a man wearing blinders, it is not. One must explore no father than sites such as this. The underlining theme of this list and its countless cousins is to be a "good & righteous soul". We all agree. Yes, yes we assure one another, convictions such as this are undoubtedly the blueprint for a better world. A better human experience! Why then, I question, have we lost sight of this commonality, this shared understanding. I realize humans across the globe will always be plagued by certain ideological differences, but must these differences effervesce to current levels?

From the page: "If you donâ€t like what someone else says to you, you can walk away. But if you donâ€t like what you say to yourself, you canâ€t walk away. Therefore, if youâ€re going to be with yourself all the time, you might as well be nice to yourself."
