- Why I don't like Apple ANYTHING: 1. I build my own machines. 2. I write my own code. 3. I do my own network config. 4. My own games. 5. Fix every body's PC who knows somebody who knows me. 6. I THINK! 7. I'm not easily distracted or beguiled by shiny metal objects which I can not personally open! 8. Last but not least: I am intelligent. None of these, then, would make me a suitable Apple minion. IMHO.

- i believe in context it was, IF it was only IE and Safari, this is our market share. I dont think Jobs was going, HAHAHAHAHAHA WE GONNA KNOCK FIREFOX OUT DA BOX YO! but w/e go on with yer fanboyisms.

fooziex rated 13 months ago- Nice insight.

Claan22 rated 13 months ago- Safari will never become popular on non-Macs. Hell, even the Mac users I know prefer Firefox or Opera. To think that the world will at some point primarily use only two browsers is absurd.

Lbgrowl rated 13 months ago- I know he probably made it two colors just for simplicity and aesthetics, but if Apple wasn't overly concerned with that kind of stuff, they could've made a functional and useful graph (heh, much like their products, no?) depicting the market share that they could actually hope to take. Come on, how could you expect all firefox users to become safari patrons? Oh well, no way you could argue with a graph that's colored brass and brushed nickel...ooooh pretty.....

SasquatchEds rated 13 months ago- The Cult of Apple comes out again...

Darque rated 13 months ago- Make no mistake about it, folks, the only difference between Steve Jobs and Bill Gates is the level of dominance. Jobs wants to monopolize the system every bit as much as Microsoft has done for years on end. And, in true corporate-monopoly fashion, the biggest threat to him isn't people heading to Microsoft - it's people making independent choices that don't rely on the big companies. Things like Firefox and Linux are anathema to the entire corporate model, and if you still need a good reason, they're superior products in very many ways. Open-source is the way of the future! (Yes, I know how corny that sounds, and I still say it - shows how much I mean it.)

Nutzilla rated 13 months ago- That's pretty interesting. Also to add to the "old way of thinking" you have to add governments, because they, too, want the things back to when they could control and tax anything and everything.
