Interesting post on getting followers on Twitter.

What's ironic about this article, and it's an interesting one about Twitter by the way, is that Jim attracted all these followers in Twitter, and has now abandoned them to go to FriendFeed. I guess he didn't like all the time he spent on Twitter. Not that I blame him. If it was all about the number of followers I had in Twitter I would be following hundreds more people a week and adding everyone who added me. Instead, I really look at who I might follow and determine if it's really worth investing the time. Are they talking about something I'm interested in? If not, chances are I will not follow them.
