1. Pray. 2. Go to bed on time. 3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed. 4. Say No, to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health. 5. Delegate tasks to capable others. 6. Simplify and unclutter your life. 7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.) 8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places. 9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together. 10. Take one day at a time. 11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you to do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it. 12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases. 13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc., 14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble. 15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday. 16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line. 17. Get enough exercise. 18. Eat right. 19. Get organized so everything has its place. 20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life. 21. Write thoughts and inspirations down. 22. Every day, find time to be alone. 23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray. 24. Make friends with Godly people. 25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand. 26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good "Thank you, Jesus!" 27. Laugh. 28. Laugh some more! 29. Take your work seriously, but yourself not at all. 30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can). 31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most). 32. Sit on your ego. 33. Talk less; listen more. 34. Slow down. 35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe. 36. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before.

From the page: "GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU. "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31) "

So this comes up and I see its a Christian site. I am a Christian, but I'm not a fundamentalist and most of the Christian sites out there are slanted toward the conservative. So my progressive self is initially on guard. But I start to read and I realize that this is some good stuff. And I do most of this already, so its a good reminder for me. I get to the bottom of the list and I didn't disagree with anything and I'm feeling good. So it gets a thumbs up. Then I read the other comments about this site, especially the ones from those who felt the need to rip it apart. So I decide to not just stop at a thumbs up but to put in a positive review. Peace to all.

The second time now i have gotten this bullshit list when hitting my SU button. I had a few beers and this pissed me off! 1. Pray. Or put a tooth under your pillow, or on the 24th of Dec. put milk and cookies out, or do the ouija board. 2. Go to bed on time. Or, if you are actually having fun for once in your miserable xian life, stay out just a little later... ;) (unless i am there, then go the eff to bed!) 3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed. Or, stay in bed till the last minute and hurry up and get ready and show up at the exact same time as your moron xian buddy that woke up hours earlier to actually eat 2 bowls of cereal... say his parables and slowly drive in the fucking left hand lane on the highway to work.... you will be much more rested! 4. Say No, to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health. hmmmm... apparently xian's are all CEO's of their companies, getting fired is stress free? 5. Delegate tasks to capable others. lazy asses, like the book of judas, he had to do it, the other eleven sluffed it off to him..... again, apparently in the work place, all xian's are CEO's 6. Simplify and unclutter your life. OK, but how? dumbfuck! 7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.) I translate this as, the more knowledge you have, the more evil you are...! Less is More? 8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places. Yes, especially with your stupid ass HeyZeus fish emblem on your car in the left fucking lane at 7:40 a.m.! 9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together. yes, please, do not actually do your job???? Again, being fired is stress free? 10. Take one day at a time. Cause the rapture will be here soon. (?) 11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you to do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it. God actually talks to you? Another, blow it off lazy xian, i am getting fired advice????? #11 is stress causing!... oh wait, i forgot, ignorance is bliss! 12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases. Save your donation for the church, we take amex, visa, mastercard and discover! 13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc., No bibles under the bush in the front yard? You can always pray that doG will navigate you to your lost keys! this one seems like a slap in the face of faith, no? 14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble. Oh, silly! You xians never keep your fucking mouth shut! this one is on ignore! 15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday. What? I would agree with this actually. 16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line. Or little bamboo sticks to put in your eyes because you are so fucking bored! 17. Get enough exercise. Yes, agreed. just with the fellas, don't ask to pray before the softball game.... 18. Eat right. Damn, or, did you ever eat that piece of chocolate cake, and felt good for it? 19. Get organized so everything has its place. Start with sleeping in on Sundays and tossing the churchy shit 20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life. AC/DC works well with this tip! :), and, i haven't read the bible in a day or so, but they now have CD's, I think they are OK, biblically and all 21. Write thoughts and inspirations down. Ok, if you think so 22. Every day, find time to be alone. lol, start talking about the ways of the holy ghost, and you will soon find yourself alone! 23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray. Yes, the on the spot ramblings to yourself work so much better.. in fact, just in case you are wrong, also pray to allah, mithra, isis, dionysus and zeus 24. Make friends with Godly people. I always do, they are so kewl and really help my stress level stay way the hell up there! 25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand. apparently xians have bad memorization skills? 26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good "Thank you, Jesus!" an ole "fuck it" works pretty good too! 27. Laugh. Ok, at what? 28. Laugh some more! Ok, i am feeling you, we are both laughing... at what?
