rttfm rated 8 weeks ago- Pure art.... The Audi S1.... The first. Just, yes. I ran across a youtube on this car a while back, I will have to dig it up. It is simply amazing what this car (& many of its contemporaries) could do. The Killer B's as they were called.... Group B Rally was, unfortunately, short lived. However, for good reason. While the FIA regulations for this class strictly limited the engine displacement, there were no limitations at all put on forced induction, turbos baby. And, oh the cars this spawned. Cars that just couldn't be stopped. Unfortunately, these cars were so fast, they were hard to control & led to some very ugly accidents. Group B was officially banned after the (cancelled) 1987 season. But, the cars that it created are nothing short of legendary...
