This isn't as far out there as some things i've heard - freezing till a cure or way to revive them is found or cloning lol so if this makes you feel closer to your deceased pet I say go for it =)

"Nice ring - where did you get it?" "Oh - it's my dead dog - I had her made into some jewelry. Stylish, no?"

I actually think it's a decent idea. Better than having the dead stuffed cat sitting there looking at you.

Lidy of Japan makes "memoria" for deceased pets that take various forms including memorial keepsake boxes, miniature pendant urns for their ashes, and the ultimate tribute to lost love, golden-toned diamond jewelry created from their carbonized remains.

your pet as a rock on your finger is one different concept. Not for me, I thought I was quacked enough having the cat cremated with ashes returned in an urn. I feel much better now. lol

Maybe it's because I grew up on a farm, but I never get attached enough to my pets to consider this. Kinda creepy.

Sad to say, my mom would probably be all over this idea.
