It only occurs in a vaccuum. Don't bother trying it unless you have your own vacuum chamber. Still, amazing stuff.

If this is TRUE, then how practical is being in and making a place to have a vacuum, just to X-Ray yourself with Scotch Tape? UCLA labs must have NOTHING ELSE to work on over there! Like curing diseases, or develop new energy sources/systems. Lets see where this technology goes! If Scotch Tape can really X-ray, then someone will make a way to use it! Somehow!

vacuum tubes will live again, this time in the shape of dual sticky-faced rollers or maybe squirrels. who knows.
