Laser Technology Takes Away Pain of the Dentist A new laser called Waterlase could take all those problems and pains away. Novocaine could be virtually eliminated because the treatment would remove a wide range of tissues and decay with no heat, pressure or discomfort...

With the Waterlase laser technology, not only will it be more efficient in eradicating bacteria and viruses with minimal bleeding, but irksome tooth aches and side effects like numbness will be a thing of the past!

My dentist has been using this (on me) for a few years. Works like a charm but not on metal, only on tooth structure. Pretty amazing.
