- The story line on the cover is hilarious: "Faith and Tim: What's normal about them (and what's not)" Presumably the unaltered photo of Faith is entirely too normal.

- The difference between the two images is quite subtle... Yeah, real subtle - she looks like Odo with a cheap skin peel and a charity shop wig. And in the full photos she has an arm like a fucking matchstick in the 'Shopped version. Of course, her natural arm is EXACTLY THE SAME as the twiglet one that we demand it to be.

- Whatever. Fauxtoshop is here to stay. The difference between the two images is quite subtle except on the level that we respond to when expecting cover-girl perfection. Then it's obvious. The psychology that causes shock is EXACTLY THE SAME as the one that demands that photoshop be used.
