Keep in mind how cheap tickets were for J. Park in 1993 and moreso for Star Wars in 1977 compared to the $10 a pop today.

Proves that "box-office success" does not equal "good movie". I finally understand now, however, why they make all of those crappy sequels.

Apparently to make a high-grossing movie, it has to be either a fantasy movie that appeals to everyone between the ages of 6 to 60. Or it has to be a movie that most women can't watch just once.
