aestheticart rated 3 months ago- "Lunch with a Helmet on", knives, forks etc., light source, 1987, by Shigeo Fukuda (b.1932). If Fukuda wasn't the first artist to use shadow in this manner, he certainly was amongst the first. What is interesting in this particular piece is that the welded cutlery by itself makes a good sculpture - the shadow could be seen as a bonus.
