impulse discovered 2 months ago- how to build your own multi touch screen

morguefile rated 9 weeks ago- cool

Auzner rated 2 months ago- Be sure to click the link to read how it's the software making this possible. I could try this with Plexiglas from a disassembled LCD (hint: correct aspect ratio with surface vs screen).

krispilgrim rated 2 months ago- what if you had a larger box, with a projector inside.. you could have a cheap version of that microsoft table

Livtay rated 2 months ago- nice video tutorial of how to build multy touch pad for fifteen minutes)))

imadoofus123 rated 2 months ago- hmm. hmmm. hmmmm.

omenemo rated 2 months ago- This is pretty eff'n sweet! a multi touch pad!

Adaman rated 2 months ago- Wonder if it would work for writing/drawing things.

R1cardo rated 2 months ago- cool

Poprock-Kiss rated 2 months ago- Went and built myself one of these but found it quite finicky. Calibration was nearly impossible, as the system detected any shadow/lack of light as a "touch". Therefore, not only was the fingertip detected, but also the shadow cast by the fingertip. I'm sure that with different thicknesses of paper and some very careful calibration I could get it working, but rest assured it is nowhere near as simple as this video would have you believe.
