Perhaps, just perhaps, the intent of the cartoon was to lampoon the way in which Michael Moore delivers information in his documentaries. Maybe, rather than saying free health care is bad, the cartoon is pointing out that Moore held up Cuba as an example of good healthcare in an attempt to be a sensationalist, and outright ignored, or covered up the country's human rights abuses. The cartoon is saying that Moore provides half truths in a manner that is meant to rabble rouse. So if you grew angry in defense of all the things you felt it was implying, then consider yourself properly roused.

Decent healthcare can only be bought at the expense of freedom? Well that's not so :D Healthcare in Cuba, much like healthcare anywhere, is actually not 'free'. People in Cuba have decided to pool their money through the government instead of insurance companies because a) The government isn't motivated to withhold treatment for profits b) The government won't charge you much above the price healthcare actually costs instead of bloating costs to get a good profit margin. whether or not this creates a fascist state intent on suppressing freedom of speech and dissent is...uh...debatable? Maybe rationing your money out to you when you need it suppresses your freedom? Or something? Maybe treating more people instead of letting them stay sick clogs up the system? Anyway, we're pretty sure Cuba is an evil place to live because of the way they decide to pay for the public's health. Okay, you'd have to be completely retarded to swallow that turd.

government has, and will continue to, bribe the American people with tempting tidbits like free health care, while subverting basic freedoms. the freedom of speech, belief, opinion, the right to protect yourself and your family.

There's free health care in American prisons.

Sure Cuba sucks, but America just sucks less.
