Yeah, "nice and friendly" until they start screwing you. Sellers have no rights with this company. I got screwed by the old "reversal by the buyer" ploy. The buyer uses a fake "oh my account got hacked" bullshit story and Paypal reverses the payment to my account. In the meantime, the buyer has screwed me out of my loot. Their online service sucks and is nothing but form letters and their descriptions about their "investigations" are worthless. You think that's bad, try talking to one of their "customer support specialists", that is if you can find their hidden phone numbers on their website. Crooks. Needles to say, I closed my account. Luckily for me, before they cleaned me out. Check out paypalsucks.com to see for yourself.

A great site and service. They are convenient and safe to do so many things that could be dangerous on other parts of the Web. I definitely recommend PayPal.

I would go with Google Pay. PayPal has charged me $1.oo for nothing. They say there is no fees. The site I went to cleared the transaction so my Bank didn't do it. And Pay Pal got one dollar for nothing. They told me it was the site that the download cost $2.50 which was a Needlecraft site and I wrote them and they were puzzle why I got charged the extra dollar because it didn't go to them. You think Pay Pal would learn not to cheat. If this wasn't my first time I wouldn't of noticed. But, one dollar on a 2.50 item is almost 50% rise for what... The sad part is the site I used them with doesn't take any thing but Pay Pal. Be careful with this Pay Pal. They keep senting you emails using double talk and NEVER take care of the problem!

Great way for folks to pay for ebay merchandise with credit card or by direct bank transfer, especially for overseas buyers...

You know a service is popular when it gets a lot of complaints:) As a former employee, I can also vouch for the fact that many of the circumstances that arise have to with individual disputes between members of the service. The fees are actually quite reasonable if you compare it to a merchant account (and largely less invasive).
