You can critic Microsoft in a constructive way, saying you don't like their Ribbon Interface or the Aero theme. However, the zealots who just go against the grain and use the M$ bullshit are very annoying. And from what I understand, you can't use 4GB of ram in Windows erkaer; it caps out at 3.5 on XP and I think the same with Vista. Though, I wouldn't know for sure. I use netbooks that don't come close to that threshold.

Good point. And as far as advertising some people have to pay their own bills so advertise whatever you want. What I do not need i have learned how to ignore.

This article is wrong on so many levels, that I don't know where to start. Anyway, fervent zealots are vexing, that's the only thing the man got right. 'Good Linux users'? As compared to what, bad or evil ones? 32 bit Linux can handle 4GB RAM, whereas Windows can not? Go read some books, _please_. Bashing people who compare Linux with Windows he does exactly the same thing, he just doesn't mention Microsoft explicitly. The same way "intelligent design" people don't mention God, but it's just too obvious. Basically, it's another one of these "wanking over my shiney Linux" articles, but this one says others are doing it wrong. Way to go, boy.

Amen my brother... Amen... (funny though now that Ubuntu - which is total Linux in every way - has such a following, some of those zealots are shooting it down too.)

It's as if a Linux user can't possibly say anything about the operating system he or she uses without mentioning Microsoft and/or what most people use for their personal computing and how it's "wrong/bad/evil", etc. To those zealots, I say unto thee: Shaddup. You're not helping.
