- Got an OMB number? No matter the IRS doesn't either...:

- I think it's time we the people voted in an alternative revenue generating method for running our government. The bureaucracy involved with income tax is just ridiculous.
As for those who say the site is helpful, you forget they created the complexity to begin with. The least they could do is help you understand how and why they're taking your money.

- While I understand it's a little hackish to thumbs down the IRS webpage, let me explain. I have no problem paying taxes and gladly do it.
What I have a problem with is this bullshit Alternative Minimum Tax that I'm hit with every year. Significant legitimate deductions? Doesn't matter - erase them all and you've now been assessed an additional $5500 in tax liability. I feel like I should be taking a rape shower ...
