includes the views of others on this topic including some in Seth Godin's blog post via The Hyping Point. The concepts behind this discussion have been a subject of contemplation for some time. I am struck with the notion that this means something different in the web 2.0 world than it did prior to this.
 gilgongo rated 17 months agomarketing - At last I find I'm not the only one that thought The Tipping Point was a ludicrously self-serving slab of pseudo-analysis. The fact that these atrocious books were only read by people that snorted coke all day long no doubt had something to do with the fact that it's taken this long for some proper science to be applied to the issues. And - surprise - blow it all out of the water.
