Barack laid out a fundamental problem in a manner few others can or proably ever will again. A well conceived speech delivered in an inspired manner. The question is are we ready to deal with it? I am less then optimistic at this juncture, I feel the powers that be, that shape and torment this country will not allow the healing to begin.Regrettably,we are going to see our political process undermined creating even more problems for a really troubled country, not a good prognosis.

It's nice to see a politician being honest about race and class relations in America. From the page: "A More Perfect Union Watch Barack's speech on race in America and building a more perfect union."

This is the most candid, intelligent, nuanced political speech in a loooong, loooong time. Required viewing for all Americans.
